The crew behind the candles
We are Candlelight Baku: producers, coordinators and image-makers who turn the city’s finest halls into rooms lit by thousands of candles.
The people who light the room
Eight people run every Candlelight night in Baku. Point at a name, or tap it, to bring them into the light.

Brings Candlelight to Baku and decides which halls, programmes and partners make the season.
Draws the candle layout for every room, so no two halls are lit the same way.
Runs the night itself: the sound check, the doors, the hour of music and the walk out.
Works with venues and musicians in the weeks before, so the evening arrives ready.
Photographs the halls, the musicians and the audience in the light of the candles.
Films each concert so the room can be seen again after the last candle goes dark.
Cuts the night into the short films you see before you decide to come.
Writes and shoots the stories that tell Baku what is playing next, and where.
